The Camera technology eliminates false colour artifacts by utilizing a special optical low pass filter and is able to resolve a horizontal resolution of 600 TV lines by means of 12bit A/D serial signal processing coupled with image element enhancement technology.

Additionally, the implementation of a 3 line processing algorithm to prevent noise under low illumination applications, directional adaptive filtering and adjustment of aperture gain by luminance level combine to provide a more vivid and clearer image.

Motion Adaptive Digital Noise Reduction

The DNR function eliminates noise the generating a distinct and clear image. The technology utilizes both and adaptive 2D filter reducing noise in the brightness of the image and an adaptive 3D Filter reducing noise caused by movement. These filters are combined with DNle technology. The result is that the camera series support Motion Adaptive DNR function that removes noise and greatly reduces motion blur.

Day & Night by ICR

For increased sensitivity of image sensor efficiently, a mechanical actuator can shift infrared (IR) Cut filter to disengaged from image path automatically in the low light environment.

Menu Driven Camera Feature Setup

Some model support OSD menu for setup Camera functions such as IRIS. Exposure, and etc.

MPEG4/MJPEG Hardware Encoder

Owing to the H/W encoder with variable frame rate and quality, DD camera provide high quality D1 and 30 fps real time video stream. MPEG4 and MJPEC Video compression are selectable to satisfy the requirements of your applications.

Bidirectional Audio

PID Series provides two-way audio support, including the option of using a built-in microphone. This enables remote users not only to view, but also to listen in on an area and communicate orders or requests to visitors or intruders.

Motion Detection Function

PID Series offers a hardware based motion detection function. If you marks some area of interested on 24x15 grid, you can make the camera to sound the alert voice or to activate the Alarm output. All of these functions are provided not by client PC but by PID camera itself.

Software Support

Besides built in web viewer, DD supports various NVR solution. For solution developers, there are several SDK based on ACtiveX, CGI, API

Optional Power over Ethernet(IEEE 802.3af) makes installation easier, cheaper and more secure since Power over Ethernet can take advantage of UPS(uninterrupted power supply), which provides back-up power in case of a power failure.
